DRI Annual Conference 2012: Debates in Development

DRI’s annual conference took place on March 22, 2012 at the Great Hall at Cooper Union. More than 700 guests attended to take part in open, direct discussions about evaluation and the search for answers in development. In a post-conference survey, 70 percent of respondents said the conference changed the way they think about aid and development.

In addition, Abhijit Banerjee and Angus Deaton, two of the most brilliant development economists of our time, squared off at the conference.
